About this product

A planner for the whole of 2027 that lives on your tablet. You write on it with a stylus, as on paper, and you move around it by tapping, as on a website. Every month, week and day has its own page, and every page links to the others.

It is made for people who have bought a digital planner before and spent the first evening wondering why the tabs did nothing. The first twelve pages are a guide that gets the links working in your app, tests them, and shows you how to plan with it. Then you tap 2027 and start.

What is inside (468 pages, landscape)

  • A 12-page guide: what the planner is and what you need; how the four kinds of page link; every control on a page, labelled; set-up cards for GoodNotes, Notability and Noteshelf on iPad and for Samsung Notes, Xodo and GoodNotes on Android, each with the exact way to follow a link in that app; a one-minute link test with five buttons and what each should open; a what-you-see / why / what-to-do table for when a link does nothing; how to plan with it in four rhythms (once, monthly, weekly, daily); a week and a day filled in by hand; how to keep it working all year; and the key dates of 2027.
  • 2027 at a glance: twelve small calendars on one page. Tap a month name for its calendar, a date for its day, a week number for its week.
  • Year plan: the whole year in a 12-by-31 grid for birthdays, trips, terms and deadlines. Every cell opens its day.
  • 12 month pages: a calendar with room to write in every square, a photo for the month, week numbers down the side that open the week, and dates that open the day. Each month has a plan and review page behind it: three things that matter, dates and deadlines, money this month, notes, and a look-back box for the last day of the month.
  • 53 week pages: seven days with lines, a box for the three things that matter this week, carry lines for next week, and a button to the next week.
  • 365 day pages: the date large, a mini calendar for the month, top three for the day, a schedule from 6 in the morning to 9 at night, a to-do list, dotted notes, a carry-to-tomorrow box and a Tomorrow button.
  • Notes: an index page and ten notes pages (lined, dotted and squared) that stay put all year.
  • Tabs on every page: 2027, the twelve months and Notes down the right edge; the month you are in sticks out. A row at the top says where you are and takes you back up a level. A Guide button returns you to the instructions from anywhere.

US federal holidays (from the Office of Personnel Management) and UK bank holidays (from GOV.UK, with the Scotland and Northern Ireland differences) are already marked on every calendar, week and day page, along with Easter, Mother's and Father's Day, Halloween and the clock changes.

Four files, so you can pick the one that fits

  • Sunday start (468 pages): weeks run Sunday to Saturday, dates read March 10, times are 12-hour, and weeks are numbered the way US calendars and Excel's WEEKNUM do (week 1 holds 1 January).
  • Monday start (468 pages): weeks run Monday to Sunday, dates read 10 March, times are 24-hour, and weeks use ISO 8601 numbers (2027's week 1 starts on Monday 4 January, as UK and European workplaces and schools count them).
  • Sunday start, Lite and Monday start, Lite (102 pages each): the same guide (without the filled-in day), year, month, week and notes pages, and no day pages, for older or slower tablets. A tapped date opens its week.

Every link in all four files was checked by a program before the planner went on sale: each one opens the page its label names, and every date sits under the right weekday.

What you need

A tablet and a stylus (an iPad with an Apple Pencil, or an Android tablet such as a Samsung Galaxy Tab with its S Pen) and a note-taking app that opens PDFs and follows their links: GoodNotes, Notability or Noteshelf on iPad; Samsung Notes, Xodo or Noteshelf on Android. The guide tells you how to import the file in each and how to switch between writing and tapping. Pages are shaped for an 11-inch iPad held sideways (1.44 to 1); on wider Android screens you see a thin margin at each side. Not made for OneNote, Kindle Scribe, reMarkable or Boox.

Any page can also be printed: choose landscape and "fit to page" on A4 or US Letter.

Not included

No sticker pack, no template library, no alternative covers. Ten notes pages take the place of fifty templates you would scroll past. Fonts are embedded; nothing to install.

This is a PDF download. No physical planner is shipped.
