About this product

A weekly planner designed for adults with ADHD.

Most planners ask you to write the same task three times: on a weekly list, on a schedule, and again on the day. Keeping those copies in step is the part that falls apart. This planner puts the whole week on one page, and each task is written once.

How it works

Plan once a week, on Sunday evening or Monday morning. It takes about ten minutes.

  1. Write down everything on your mind.
  2. Pick the three things that matter most this week and write them at the top. This is your Top three.
  3. Write anything with a fixed day, such as an appointment, on that day.
  4. Put everything else in Parked, the list for things that can wait.
  5. Each day, look at the page and tick what is done.
  6. On Friday, take five minutes to tick, move or cross out every line.

The book shows a week filled in before it asks you to fill in your own, and has a page on what to do when a week goes wrong.

What is inside (36 pages)

  • How it works, with pictures: seven short pages.
  • Set-up for thirteen weeks: a page to empty your head, one to three goals, a list for things that can wait, routines, and the thirteen weeks at a glance.
  • Thirteen weekly pages, enough for about three months. Print them again when they run out.
  • A half-way check and an end review.
  • Extra pages: a spare week, a page for one heavy day, a project broken into steps, and a list of things you are waiting on.

What you download

  • The planner in US Letter and A4, for reading on screen.
  • A fillable edition in both sizes, for typing into on a computer.
  • A print edition in both sizes, light on ink and clear in black and white, in one ZIP.

Good to know

  • Undated: any week can be week one.
  • Lines are 10 mm apart with 5 mm tick boxes, so there is room to write.
  • The cover is plain enough for a desk at work.
  • The fillable edition is made for a desktop PDF reader such as the free Adobe Acrobat Reader. Many phone and tablet apps do not keep typed entries; to handwrite on a tablet, use the print edition.
  • Print at 100% or "actual size", not "fit to page".

One Page Week is a paper planning tool. It is not medical advice and it makes no promises about any condition.
