About this product

A weekly planner designed for parents homeschooling several children.

With several children at one table, two of them will need you at the same moment while a third has nothing to do. This planner shows you, a week ahead, which child needs you alone on which day, so you can sit with them one after another.

How it works

Every weekend you fill in one page for the coming week. First write what everyone will do together. Then write each child's work for each day and circle one mark: T if they are with everyone, I if they can work on their own, or 1 if they need you alone. If two children need you alone on the same day, you write the order on the row called "You". The book shows a week filled in before it asks you to fill in your own.

What is inside (40 pages)

  • How it works, with pictures: the shape of a twelve-week term, the three kinds of work, what to do when two children need you at once, and a weekly page filled in.
  • Before the term starts: the term at a glance, three things for each child, books and resources for each child, your usual week, and a supplies list.
  • Twelve weekly pages, with a row for each of four children. Week 10 is kept free for catching up.
  • Records and reviews: a reading log, a dated record of work, a mid-term check and an end-of-term review for each child.
  • Extras: an outing page, "things they said", and a ruled page.

What you download

  • The book in US Letter and A4, for reading on screen.
  • A fillable edition in both sizes, for typing into.
  • A low-ink edition in both sizes for printing, which reads properly in black and white, in one ZIP.

Good to know

  • Undated: start in any week, and print it again next term.
  • It works with whatever you already teach. It is a planner, not a curriculum, and it does not tell you what to teach.
  • With three children, leave a row empty. With five or more, print two copies of each weekly page.
  • The fillable edition is made for Adobe Acrobat Reader, Chrome and Edge. Typing does not work in GoodNotes or Notability; use the low-ink edition there and write by hand.
  • Print at 100% or "actual size", not "fit to page".
