About homeschool planners

A homeschool planner has two jobs: helping you plan the week, and keeping proof of the year for when someone asks what each child studied. The three books on this shelf weigh those jobs differently, so it helps to know which matters more to you.

The Homeschool Planner and Record Book leans towards records. Nothing is dated, so you can start in any month, and every Friday the weekly pages feed the attendance count, grades, reading, trips and portfolio for up to four children. It comes in US Letter and A4, plus a fillable edition if you would rather type than print.

The Kitchen Table Term is about the week itself. You fill in one page each weekend and mark every child's work as together, independent or one to one, so you can see in advance who needs you on which day.

If you are still deciding how to homeschool at all, How to Start Homeschooling includes 15 printable record sheets, each shown filled in, for parents in the United States.

If you design planners of your own, you can list them on Bookstorez too.

Questions

Is there a printable homeschool planner that is not tied to dates?
Yes. The Homeschool Planner and Record Book is undated, so you can start it in any month and print it again next year. US Letter and A4 are both included.
Can I type into the planner instead of printing it?
The Homeschool Planner and Record Book includes a fillable edition for typing into, as well as the pages to print.
Which homeschool planner suits several children?
The Planner and Record Book covers one to four children. The Kitchen Table Term is made for several children at one table and shows, a week ahead, which child needs you alone on which day.
Is there room for reading logs and field trips?
The Planner and Record Book keeps reading, trips, a portfolio and reports alongside attendance and grades, so the year's plans and proof sit in one place.
